About Us
Our Pillars
Safety
Safety first, always.
Yes, I’m all about adding a little extra, but we’re also all about safety. Although OSHA standards set minimum safety and health requirements, they don’t necessarily prohibit employers from adopting more stringent requirements to ramp up safety protocol. From brighter colors for extra hi-visibility to glitter accessories for extra reflectivity, I promise to keep it safe, with a side dish of pink.
Empowerment
Wear your hard hat as a crown.
This is the cornerstone of my brand, to support, boost and empower bold women who do all the hard work. Because women have worked darn hard to step foot onto a construction site, let alone endure the daily grind of a ‘man’s’ job, I’m here to expand the movement a little further by creating fashionable (and flattering) workwear that make women feel truly seen, heard and of course fabulous!
Fun
More pink, please.
Working in construction is a tough job. You need a tough mind, tough attitude, and tough skin. And although the construction/industrial industry requires focus, precision, and staying on your toes from clock in to clock out, I also believe it requires a sprinkle of fun. With a pop of pink, Letter B aims to brighten your smile and lighten your load, always.
Local
Supporting small & sustainable.
Supporting my local neighbors, communities and small businesses is important to me, which is why I have partnered with a hometown company, to ensure every collection is designed and developed right here in the US. Doing my absolute best to contribute to the sustainable solution, I also ensure all designs and materials are ethically re-used where possible to prevent raw materials from hitting the landfill.
For Gritty gals who do gutsy work
It might not be much of a newsflash but we’re living in the 21st Century. And although women have pushed, proven, and powered through the construction industry, paving the way for Bold women to do what they do best (be badass) in our modern era, the fight is still not over.
Workwear is included in that fight.
Despite women kicking ass in their fields, the workwear industry still hasn’t quite caught on and adapted to pro-women gear. We’re left with baggy styles, unflattering cuts, and unisex sizes that just don’t quite scream “watch out, incoming baddie with a hammer”.
Ladies, I see you.
You’ve worked hard, you’ve raised eyebrows and you’ve pushed boundaries, but isn’t it time for you to express yourself, your way?
This is where I come in - designing sassy yet safe workwear for gritty women who do gutsy work, whilst looking like a construction queen doing it. I’m talking high-vibe hi-visibility and pops of pink that boosts more than just your outfit, but also, boosts your confidence, your mood, and your fellow work crew’s smile!
Driven by my namesake, Letter B, A.K.A let-her-be, I’m all about empowering bold women to live a brave life, and to create enough legroom for them to unapologetically embrace and express their inner girl power, no matter the circumstance nor construction site.
Our Founders Bio
Hey There,
My name is Bri, an entrepreneur, creator, and everyday construction queen. But most of all, I’m just a gal with a big dream dedicated to transforming the way women look, feel, and kick-butt in the construction and industrial industry.
So where did it all begin?
Just like you, I’m that girl in the hard hat and muddy work boots with a fearless attitude, ready to roll up my sleeves and get dirty. But in the name of keeping things real, from one badass to another, it’s one helluva tough job being a woman in a male-dominated field. At 22 years young, I became the first female supervisor in my craft (and youngest) to assist in the development of a new multi-billion-dollar construction project. I had to push, prove and persuade a bunch of older men, with much more experience than me, that I knew what I was doing and had what it took to get the job done. Fast forward a great 8 years, and I can solemnly say that although I have worked hard and kicked butt, the fight for women to be seen and embraced, is not over.
Now, a huge chunk of that fight includes work apparel for women, because although there are so many more women working in this male-dominated field, we’re still left with unflattering styles, boyish cuts, and unisex sizes that just don’t quite express the essence of our fab.
Cue my inner trailblazer. I’ve decided to roll up my sleeves once again and create Letter B - a modern girl-powered brand that designs fun, expressive, and bold work gear, without compromising on safety. From hi-vibes to hi-visibility, my brand is all about providing a voice for gritty gals who do gutsy work and creating opportunities for women to clock- in at the gate with a pop of pink, a dose of fun, and of course, a bold sense of confidence, because when you look good you feel good, and when you feel good you do better. 😊
